Ceramic Media

POLISH
Contains no abrasives. Highly recommended for bright finishes.

GENERAL PURPOSE
A high performance media, that has the unique combination of fast
burr removal and low media loss. Good for mild steel and some
aluminum alloys.

SF
|
FAST CUTTING
A tough, fast cutting media where the primary concern is fast burr
removal, resulting in slower time cycle. Primarily used on steel.
|
|
UFX
|
VERY AGGRESSIVE
This is a more aggressive than the SF. It will give very
good burr removal and moderate media life. This media will
leave a smooth finish and will work well when a second
polish step is to be done.

|
DF
|
DENSE SUPER FAST CUTTING
This media is more aggressive than the SF and will result in shorter
run times. Excellent on all steel, especially stainless steel. The
wear rate will be higher.

Plastic Media

PRE PLATE FINISH
This media is used where you need very light de burring
and is used in the jewelry industry. It can also be used as
a second step for parts that have already been de burred and
you want a smoother finish for polishing.

X
|
GENERAL PURPOSE
This is an excellent general purpose media for most aluminum alloys
especially 6061-T6. It will produce fast burr removal, yet has good
media life. This media has proven to be effective yet economical to
use.

XV
|
HIGHER WEAR
This media is very similar to the X , but is
slightly more aggressive and will have a slightly higher
wear rate.

Z-1
|
AGGRESSIVE
This is a aggressive plastic media that will
cut the harder aluminum alloys like 7075. It has a higher
wear rate than the X , but will also give good burr removal
and shorter run timed. It is sometimes used on hard material
like stainless where a very smooth finish is required.

LIGHT CUTTING
This is a light cutting media that will give you long
media life. This is a media that will run much cleaner that
the polyester plastic media and is less expensive.

SY-1
|
GENERAL PURPOSE
This media is comparably to X formulation. It is a
general purpose media that will run cleaner that the green X
polyester media. It is also less expensive to purchase. It
is a relative new media that in not made from a petroleum
product, so the price will be more stable. Since it is a new
formulation it is not yet available in all the sizes.
