If you do not see the media you are looking for from our IN STOCK media selection please view our extensive list of ceramic, plastic, synthetic, porcelain and small precision media. All of this parts tumbler media is readily available and will usually ship within two days. There will be a $5.00 a box handling fee for this media only if it is shipped UPS. There is NO SALES tax on any sale out side the state of California. Quantities of up to 250# is most economically shipped by UPS. Anything over 250# will be cheaper to ship via truck. We have very attractive shipping discounts with many freight lines. If you are in the eastern half of the US we can drop ship any of this media from Cincinnati, Oh and save you money on shipping. Don't forget to ask for special pricing for quantities over 500#.

Ceramic Tumbler Media for Steel and Stainless Steel

Media Formulations

• (P) polishing - This is a porcelain media that has no abrasive in it. It is used to polish all materials. It can be used as a second step or used alone when only a polish is required.
• (M) general purpose - This is a general purpose media that will give moderate burr removal on hard metals with very good media life. It may also be used on some aluminum alloys.
• (SF) super fast, good cutting and good life - This is a more aggressive media that will give good burr removal and good media life. It is used on all steels. This is our most widely used formulation.
• (DF) dense fast-cut - This is a very aggressive media that will have a high wear rate. It is used when aggressive burr removal is required because of material hardness , burr size or a desire to reduce run times.

Plastic Tumbler Media for Aluminum and Soft Metals

Media Formulations

• (V) pre plate finish - This media is used where you need very light de burring and is used in the jewelry industry. It can also be used as a second step for parts that have already been de burred and you want a smoother finish for polishing.
• (X) general purpose - This is an excellent general purpose media for most aluminum alloys especially 6061-T6. It will produce fast burr removal, yet has good media life.
• (XV) higher wear - This media is very similar to the X , but is slightly more aggressive and will have a slightly higher wear rate.
• (Z-1) aggressive - This is a aggressive plastic media that will cut the harder aluminum alloys like 7075. It has a higher wear rate than the X , but will also give good burr removal and shorter run timed.
